We’ve seen some corkers believe us! Bearing in mind your potential new boss may spend just a minute or two looking at your CV (he may have hundreds to look at!) then you need to make sure the language is right so that you stand out from the rest.

Instead, use words like achieved, improved, mentored, managed, created, resolved and negotiated.
Keep your CV short, precise and professional. It’s only a brief overview of your experience and achievements, it can be discussed further in the interview. Happy CV writing!
