The Works Cracking Easter Treats for Leeds Children’s Charity

The Works Recruitment have this year decided to donate a choc-tastic amount of Easter eggs to the Leeds Children’s Charity. The Works want to support local charities and chose to partner with Leeds Children’s charity by giving the children something to look forward to this Easter.

Easter can be a magical time, but some children within the UK today don’t have many happy memories and can be subjected to poverty, neglect and even abuse.Easter Egg donation from The Works

For well over 100 years, the Leeds Children’s Charity has been raising funds so that children who suffer from poverty, neglect, abuse, learning difficulties, illness, or are themselves young carers, get the chance to visit the seaside, make friends, have fun and forget about the bad things and responsibilities they have.

They do this by sending 350 children each year between the ages of 7-11 to their holiday centre in Silverdale, an area of “outstanding natural beauty” on the border of Lancashire and Cumbria.

Such a small gesture can make such a huge difference on children lives. The Works Recruitment handed them over to the charity this week and they are being taken upto the centre to be distributed to the children for Easter.

If you want to know more about how you can assist this charity please go to their website or contact them directly as they are always looking for support.

Why not buy an egg-stra egg this Easter and give to someone less fortunate then you, a simple gesture can make someone’s day.
