How many people do you employ? In which divisions?
Our NAV Production team currently consists of 21 staff
What are the most important things that you look for in an interview?
An ability to communicate effectively, proof that the interviewee has researched the position/company and understands what role they are interviewing for and a sign that the interviewee has a good work ethic and an ability to regularly hit tight deadlines
Do you remember a time when hiring someone went very wrong?
Yes, we’ve experienced problems with referencing and other employment checks in the past
What 3 things do you look for in a recruitment agency?
An ability to source good candidates that are relevant for our roles, competitive rates and helpful/personable staff
What would make a new employee stand out in your business?
A ‘can do’ mentality and an eagerness to learn and an ability to quickly adapt to our processes
What advice do you have for someone that is unemployed?
I’m no expert in this area but I’d advise to look at jobs outside their comfort zone, up skill to increase their employability and maybe consider volunteering temporarily to increase experience levels but most importantly they shouldn’t lose heart.
