The training will be delivered by Michael Millward MSc FCIPD, former CIPD National Council Member and Branch Chair, and will take place at our offices in Leeds.
What benefits does a CIPD qualification provide?
The majority of organisations in West Yorkshire don’t have HR support (in particular SME’s) which can result in poor employee management, mental health issues and dis-engagement from employees. We believe that professional HR support is a key factor in the success of any small business which is why we are delighted to be hosting these training courses at our canal side city centre Leeds offices.
The courses will provide a professional recognised qualification and will give delegates the confidence and ability to introduce good HR practices which will help increase productivity, make employees more efficient and reduce the risks and costs of HR issues.
Who are these courses for?
- CIPD Level 3 qualifications are aimed at office or line managers with some form of HR responsibility. The training is targeted at supervisory level and for delegates who want to bring aspects of HR into their role.
- CIPD Level 5 qualifications are aimed at HR professionals who are looking for a career in HR. The training is targeted at management level and aimed at delegates who have a higher level of HR responsibility.
The topics covered at both these levels are Recruitment, Disciplinary & Grievance, Pay & Reward, Training & Development, Management and Strategy & Planning.
The finer details
The training courses will take place over a 6-month period, consisting of 1 full day of training per month, and will be starting mid-September (dates TBC). We need a minimum of 5/6 delegates to run this training effectively and all refreshments will be provided on the day including a sandwich lunch.
The training courses will take place through small groups working collaboratively on practical exercises and will be delivered using videos, powerpoint, e-learning, group discussions and practical exercises. Some sessions will welcome expert guest speakers over the lunchtime period.
Level 3 – £2,300 plus VAT for 6 sessions
Level 5 – £3,450 plus VAT for 6 sessions
